ChromaTOF® Sync 2D Makes Its Exclusive Debut at MDCW 2025!

A New Dimension in GCxGC Analysis is Here

The 16th Multidimensional Chromatography Workshop (MDCW 2025) was marked with exciting events and one big reveal for comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC) users. Not only did we hear presentations from LECO Applications Chemist Christina Kelley and Head of Separation Science Applications EU Sebastiano Panto, but in an exclusive launch event, LECO Corporation unveiled ChromaTOF Sync 2D, the latest innovation in GCxGC data processing.

Taking place in Liège, Belgium, the LECO Europe team decided there was no better way to celebrate than by combining science with a locally inspired sensory experience. The launch event was seamlessly transitioned into a beer tasting session, where attendees explored not only the flavours in their glass, but also the science behind them with the help of our new, innovative software.

An Exclusive Preview Event

The unveiling of ChromaTOF Sync 2D was led by Christine Loeb-Stubbins, EU Field Product Manager, and gave attendees an exclusive first look at this software that redefines data alignment, peak deconvolution, and non-targeted analysis.

Following the presentation, Lena Dubois from the Berlin Applications Team and collaborator Anaïs Rodrigues from the University of Liège guided guests through a curated beer tasting experience, using ChromaTOF Sync 2D to break down the aroma and flavour profiles at the molecular level—showcasing how powerful comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography analysis can be.

Guests left with exclusive software demo licenses, giving them the opportunity to experience ChromaTOF Sync 2D for their own workflows.
